Icaboni flower arranging is very detailed and often practiced art form in Japan. I do not claim to be an expert but this elegant vase makes it simple to arrange a single stem or several stems easily. The pot make a simple yet elegant statement in the middle of the room.

This 20 inch bowl is in a series called the Lily Resist Series. I've thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with the process of using red iron oxide to draw intricate lily patterns, trace with hot wax, and then coat with glaze to make a bold lily design.

'The Pot of the Day' is a place to reveal the daily works of a passionate potter and the growing process of creating.
